Rockcastle County Ambulance Service is a non-profit county-based EMS agency proudly serving the citizens and visitors of Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Located in Mount Vernon, our service has been serving our community since 1985. 

Responding to more than 3,600 calls a year and steadily growing, our team of 10 EMT's, 7 A-EMT's, and 4 Paramedics are always ready at a moments notice to respond to our community.

Our crews provide 24/7 ALS and BLS emergency medical services, responding to 911 calls throughout Rockcastle County. We provide emergency care for medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, accidents, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, strokes, and other critical situations.

In addition to 911 response, we provide interfacility and non-emergency medical transports, helping safely move patients between hospitals and other healthcare facilities while providing appropriate medical care throughout the transport.
